Dorothy Spinner was a young Kansas farmgirl with the ability to bring imaginary creatures to life. She also suffered from facial deformities that made her resemble an ape. She served with the Doom Patrol before she was put into a coma and her life support was terminated.

History


Having being born with a face likeing like a monkey, Dorothy retreated from the world, using her imaginary to teach her stuff, like how to read. The rest of Dorothy's life has not been much better then the start. During her time with the Doom Patrol she brought to life the Candlemaker, who later decapitated the Chief and got lured into another dimention where she was forced to work. Then when Robotman tried to reunite her with her mother, Dorothy went beserk and wiped him out of existance. She then created a new Robotman who was better then the old one. When other heroes restored the real Robotman and realized that the other Robotman was from Dorothy, they put her on psychiatric treatment.
