Alright so the thing with Doomsday is, if he is destroyed he'll regenerate, and immune to what ever killed him before. That's it. Not very specific. I don't know how to interpret the phrase. Does it mean, just what it says. Ex. if Superman kills Doomsday with heat vision, is he immune to heat vision period, try something else? Or, is he immune to that degree of power used, meaning it would take more fire power than before? These are just ways I've thought of interpreting it, can someone explain to me what his power exactly means?

This shouldn't be in the off-topic thread. It should be in the Superman thread.

And that is exactly how it works. He becomes unkillable to whatever had previously killed him.

This should be in the Doomsday thread not Superman

Also i would say that depends. Most of the time it is just flat out if he is killed by something he can't be killed that way again. But there have been times where he can be killed by the same thing if the second time it is just more powerful. Superman literally beat Doomsday to death with his fists (while he died also) then in the New Krypton story arc he was beat to death by a mob of Kryptonians using their fists as well but it was a whole bunch of them rather then just one so it still killed him (it was more powerful). But like in the animated series the justice lord Superman lobotomized Doomsday then when Doomsday came back the real Superman tried it but Doomsday had grown a bone plate in front of his brain to protect him. Since Justice Lord Superman and regular Superman are the same strength presumably then that is why it didn't work the second time but if regular Superman was stronger then it might have worked still.

Id say he gets alot more resistant to that type of damage rather then flat out immune.

In the olden days it was very specific what could and couldnt harm him. A Guardian blowing up in his face did the trick once (energy), and not much later he was killed by the Radiant (energy) before he came to Earth.
