icarusflies77's Doom Patrol #2 - Black Is (Theoretically) Black; Enter: Douglas! review

    Back to the Morrison Age

Finally the Doom Patrol is back to the way it was supposed to be. Bizarre. I was somewhat disappointed by the first issue, which looked to be another typical super-team meets weird genetic engineering (which while odd is highly cliché). However this issue introduced a completely new idea. Sentient scientist black hole? Which is highly interested in encyclopedias and idioms? All it needs now is the return of the Brotherhood of Dada.

The Metal Men second-feature is also well written, and is paced well for its length. Is it a return to the BWA-HA-HA age of comics?
