Don Hall

Don Hall was the original Dove and brother of Hank Hall the original Hawk.

History

Don Hall and his brother Hank were blessed with superpowers by the Lords of Chaos and Order. Don, the more peaceful brother became Dove while his tempermental brother became Hawk. The two fought crime together and with Titans West until Don gave his life to save a child during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

When Dawn Granger assumed the mantle of Dove, Don's ghost would periodically appear to her to offer support, though it remained unclear if this was the real Don or just a figment of Dawn's imagination.

The Blackest Night

During the Blackest Night, Don Hall was stated to be at peace in death and could not be risen with a Black Lantern ring.
