I hate the idea of changing a character's sexual preference. Gay characters show stay gay, straight characters should stay straight, etc.

So, if you had sex with mystique while she was transformed into a dude, would that be gay or not gay (assuming you're a dude yourself)?
What about having sex with Morph or Hulkling while they were shapeshifted into a female? Would that be gay?

" No offence dude but you have a strange obsession with turning straight characters gay "
" So, if you had sex with mystique......You would be awesome. That is all.

First of all, Mystique is not gay, she's bi-sexual. I could see Domino getting curious about being with women and might try it, I don't think it would be a bad thing at all. It's not changing her sexual preference, just experimenting or expanding it.
" @Death Certificate: I read Sex and Violence, and seeing as how they dry hump ther way outta fights I thought it would be a funny question to ask. I dont need to be obsessed to ask a question dude. "Then why didn't you ask "What if Wolverine was gay?"... because he would then love you. He will SNIKT you in places you never dreamed before!
Why did you pick Domino? Why would it at all matter if she was gay?
People actually like Domino enough to care?
" It wouldn't change anything at all. This is like asking what if Cyclops shot green lasers instead of red ones. "BINGO GEM!
She's one of those characters who I could see being bi. Pairings that would interest me would be Domino and Outlaw and with X-23
" No offence dude but you have a strange obsession with turning straight characters gay "Hahaha
She could be Bi, hell any character in creation could end up being bisexual. Rictor had Wolfsbane and then he had Shatterstar (but that was a long time coming). What about the possibility of Rahne and Dani having romantic feelings for each other? There was a case for that as well, and a good chunk of evidence. Karma becoming a lesbian was a shock to me but it didn't make me feel any different about her character: she's still strong as hell.
Then you've got Northstar, who always knew he was gay. So he likes men, but that doesn't make him any less of a hero. Same with Anole. Although Anole is young, he's still got his preferences.
Of course you have people like Daken, who really doesn't care. He just wants to use people for his own reasons whether they're men or women.
So, in asking the question of Domino's sexuality, if she was gay, whatever. She's still a hell of a character, but I really don't see why. It would seem forced.
I guess it's your opinion. :p

She'd just be gay.Nothing happens.
I'd be secretly a lot happier. I am ultra protective of Domino that way, even if she doesn't need it. Truthfully though, she strikes me more as bisexual.
From the thread though, and far too many people to quote, but generally, most characters don't actually come out and state their sexual preference in their debut appearance. Do they even have sexualities to be changed, unless otherwise stated or depicted on panel? We can't just assume characters are straight now can we? Otherwise I agree generally.
I wouldn't care in the least. Domino is not about who she bangs but who she shoots. She certainly has a sex life but that does not affect her as a character at all. Leave that "defined by sex" issue to people like Emma, Northstar and Rictor.

Even Superman becomes bi, who can't.
