    Doctor VooDoo #2: Neverending Nightmares

At the end of the last issue of Doctor Voodoo, Remender hinted that the Eye of Agamotto did not choose Jericho Drumm to bring in an era of light but an era of darkness to the title of Sorcerer Supreme. After Jericho quarantining heavyweight Dormanu, he battled Doctor Doom from one dimension to the next until they landed in a dimension where someone really wants to use VooDoo's power for his own plans.

This issue shed a lot of light into Jericho's motivations for becoming a VooDoo priest. His undying love and guilt over his brother. He is haunted by a living zombie on a train that may be a hallucination or not.

As he escaped the "nightmarish" world he discovers a hell on earth as New Orleans is besieged by creatures he escaped. Foolishly thinking he escaped their plane unscathed he is fooled by something impersonating Damian Hellstorm and releasing an old foe of Strange's who now has VooDoo's staff of power.

Rating: Buy it! Mixing old lore of New Orleans with marvel occult.
