    A policewoman is brutally murdered...and Doctor Fate's attempt to retrieve her from the realm of death results in catastrophic events.

    Kent and Inza's neighborhood isn't the nicest in town. They are trying to make things better in their little part of it. Looking out for their neighbors and trying to help people out. They meet rookie cop, Debby Niles who's Aunt and Uncle live in the Nelson's apartment building. After Debby is accidentally killed by one of the people in the neighborhood, Dr. Fate attempts to bring her sould back to her body. Is this possible? And at what cost?

    It has been a long time since I've caught up on some old issues of Dr. Fate.  I had a little trouble getting into this issue.  Once I understood what was going on, I enjoyed it more.  Not my favorite, but an okay read.  The neighborhood that the Nelson's live in is a strange one.  Lot's of different people hanging out there and not necessarily getting along with one another.  Debby Niles is the new cop on patrol there and is stopping in to take her Aunt and Uncle out to lunch.
