The child Eric Strauss is forced to grow up fast...literally, as he becomes the new Doctor Fate...the last best hope for the survival of mankind against the forces of the Anti-Fate and the Lords of Chaos. Guest starring the Justice League and the Phantom Stranger.

Typhon now has in his possession the helmet and amulet of Dr. Fate. And he's wreaking chaos upon the land. Kent Nelson is too old to carry on as Fate and Eric Strauss proved to not be ready to accept the "Fate". Can the help of other heroes be enough to stop chaos from taking over?
