 Phantom Stranger is Raina a story about a couple named Kent and Inza Nelson.  They are being visited by threes guests.  The Nelsons are having an arguement about Nabu and if he is good or bad.  He also tells her a story about Eugene and Wendy.  Wendy is very sick and near death.

A Beautiful End to a Beautiful Story 0

To understand what is going on you really need to have been reading this series. DeMatteis even writes in one of the letters that it turned out to be a twenty four comic long graphic novel, something he wasn't expecting. If you have not read the series, you will be completely confused and have no idea what is going on at all. Basically, this is the end of the long storyline that is just brilliant. I struggled with this issue.  I really never got an understanding of what was happening.  Kent and Inza are in a terrible argument about Nabu.  She saying Nabu is evil, that  he stole their lives.  Kent is sticking up for Nabu, saying he's not evil, that he's a good force in the world.   I failed to understand what this story was all about.  I was completely confused about what was happening.  Phantom Stranger is telling a story to a little girl and it just doesn't make sense.  They are in heave...
