"Try to shoot me without an arm, pal!" - Ham. Doc Savage and his crew are continuing their worst nightmare. Doc Savage's father has (had) many secrets, and the biggest one is about to come into existence, The Crime College. To Bad for Doc Savage Jr., because in Doc Savage Senior's leave, the students have become more powerful than the teacher. Like always, Doc Savage and his crew must clean up the mess. Because when you're the man of bronze, then you've got to clean up the mess! Writer B. Clay Moore is joined by penciler Howard Porter.

    The Good

The "Worst Nightmare" continues, part 5 is called: Till it's gone. I've enjoyed just reading this series, just for the sake of reading something regular and not consisting of the "main" DC universe. While I enjoy First Wave even more than this series, Doc Savage's stories have a good feel for a "alternate" universe. Most alternate universes can pull off, having stories with a world that doesn't have super powered heroes, others can't. Doc Savage is a story for people that like adventure, his adventures travel all over the world. The writing was good, it could've been better, and the art continues to show more style.

    The Bad

What I didn't like was how Solakis took over Eurystheus boat, and then made it a poker room for his own enjoyment. What was weird is that Eurystheus didn't have no alarms on that boat, I mean who even does that. If you own something that is really high tech I would've put some alarms on that thing. And intrust it to someone who could "really" protect it. After reading this they then add a second feature. I don't have anything against second features, however was it really required for DC to add this story.

    The Verdict

If you're really avid about this series and Doc Savage, then pick up the first issue. Because this isn't a good place to start. For readers who've already read this series, can continue, however new readers might not want to read these story lines. Instead read First Wave, much more action and story, it also has other (non powered) heroes. The second feature for this story is "The Avenger." Overall this is a 3.5 out of 5.
