Doc Samson

Leonard Samson was originally Bruce Banner's psychiatrist; when he found that a device used to drain gamma rays from the Hulk retained some energy, he exposed himself and became a green-haired super-being. Feeling overconfident, he began romancing Banner's girlfriend Betty Ross, prompting Banner to re-expose himself and become the Hulk once again. The two fought, but in recent years Samson has become Banner's friend and confidant, as well as his therapist. Doc Samson also works as a psychiatrist specializing in other superheroes' problems.

Strength

Doc Samson could originally lift/press around 70 tons, the equivalent to the Hulk in a calm state. Over time his powers wained and his strength seemingly dropped to around 25 tons. His most recent activity shows that his strength seems to have increased again to possibly even greater levels than he possessed early on in his career. His current strength level is unknown, but it is at least in the 70 ton range.

Powers

Doc Samson possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, and resistance to injury depending on the length of his hair.

His powerful leg muscles enable him make leaps up to 580 feet straight up and to cover distances of over 910 feet in length. His body is dense enough to resist virtually any kind of conventional injury. His bones and muscles are resilient enough to allow him to fall, feet first, from an altitude of 4,000 feet and land uninjured. The Gamma radiation has increased his endurance to the point where he almost never tires. He once battled the hulk and was exerted himself at full capacity for several hours with absolutely no signs of fatigue.

Abilities

Doc Samson is an incredibly talented (and apparently naturally gifted) unarmed combatant. No record of his training is listed, but he has proved capable of standing toe to toe with the Hulk and hold his own, even though the Hulk is vastly more powerful than him. He is also a skilled psychiatrist and psychotherapist, although in battle he tends to let his emotions overcome his intellect.
