Do you love Earth?
Following on the return of Star Sapphire the previous issue this issue serves as a sort of origin story for who the star sapphires are and in doing so provides a bit more depth for the upcoming Sinestro Corps War. the story which is told is fairly similar to that which already involves the Guardians, but shows a bit more of a development as the Zamarons formed their own order. They tried to instill love through the universe, although their methods were perhaps not entirely in line with what love is. This cuts back to Hal and Carol and Cowgirl all locked together in a battle until some unexpected visitors show up. The backup story of origins from the Sinestro Corps tells the story of Karu-Sil, which in terms of creating the image of a fearful creature is pretty successful.
