Though I adore Fables' Snow White. 

Mulan in terms of her overall bio. She's just too bad-ass for me. 
Coming from a far second place tie are Snow White & Cinderella.

my vote really goes to Anastasia but then again i realized that she's not from Disney.. lol.. 
 
well, for the other Disney Princess well, i think Belle is the best being the only one who was not really born a princess or of noble blood.. :P

Either Mulan or Tianna from the Princess and the Frog. The rest all had to depend upon some man to rescue them. Mulan and Tianna accomplished their goals, and are strong female role models. Jasmine and Belle come after that

why is it always Disney Princesses? why aren't there any Disney Duchesses, Marchionesses or Countesses.. at-least 20th Century Fox made a Grand Duchess as their protagonist.. LOL

i have always preferred the real-life ones over those of Disney, but as for those of Disney, i like Belle.. 
 
as for the real-life ones, Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Anna Czartoryska, Lady Kitty Spencer, Princess Elisabeth of Thurn und Taxis, Countess Bianca Brandolini d'Adda and Princess Komuntale of Toro takes my vote..  ^_^

@lord_oraculous016:  well, if we're going to go out of our way to correct everyone today and be grammar nazi's, then I guess we should actually be correct while doing so right? when the term " Disney Princess " is applied to something, it ambiguously refers to a property in Disney's line whom has been elected a " princess " of the franchise, not of a character of actual noble blood within their own stories nor one that held said position within the tale they were in.  and my real favorite is Alice from the backline of Disney Princesses followed by Tinkerbell, Snow White from the frontline.

Definitely Belle. She's a hot female nerd who fell in love with a hideous recluse. I can't believe we're not all choosing her.

Ariel is the best princess, since Mulan, Tiana & Pocahontas don't count as princesses.

@Dracade102: Tiana should count since she ends up with a prince at the end of the movie.

I choose Ariel, she's the funniest imo and has the most beautiful voice..again..imo
