    The original seven digidestined consisted of Tai Kamiya, Matt Ishida, Mimi Tachikawa, Sora Takenouchi, Joe Kido, Izzy Izumi, and Matt's little brother T.K. The digidestined use digivices to get their digimon to digivolve to their next levels.

    While at summer camp these friends were sucked into the digital world. There they meet their digimon partners. All seven of the digidestned got their own digimon. When they were sucked into the digital world they first appeared on File Island which was being  taken over by Devimon.
