@DEGRAAF: Look forward to it :)
Dick Grayson
Character » Dick Grayson appears in 9484 issues.
As the first Robin, Dick Grayson was the most famous sidekick in comic book history. As he ventured forth on his own, he formed the Teen Titans and became their leader. When the boy became a man, he became the independent hero known as Nightwing.
"With me, it's all in the timing."
@SmoothJammin: lol oh i was posting about it in a different thread (thinking that is where we were talking about it. No one spoiled it from me and i loved the issues but i don't see that subject lasting past the end of this arc unless they really drill it in to Dick's character during their battle. I would actually be ok with him gaining these small abilities but i would prefer him getting the suit Batman had during his investigation on who was worthy enough to help on his mission of Batman Inc. That seemed to be the most advanced suit he had ever had and i think Nightwing should have one with the same capabilities rather then go with his old one again. The only thing that looks different about Nightwings new costume is the red and more armored type wrists
@Degraaf:Insider suit was pure overkill. Streamlining the Azrael batarmor is the way to go. Trim off all the bulk, install some jetboots and you have a composite Beyond/batwing armor.
There's an issue of Teen Titans Spotlight:Nightwing where Bruce gets captured and auctioned off to be killed in some unknown location. Dick takes some insane leaps of logic to find him and busts in at the exact moment he's to be executed. The lowlife has a gun pressed against Bats' head and everything. In the end it's implied Bruce staged the whole capture to test Dick, and he tells him he cut it a bit close, but he came through for him at the last second and that's all that mattered.

Cutting it close? :O
Nightwing should show up in a ton of different titles.
@htb106: I think he should've made cameos in every #1 issue instead of Pandora
@richardjohngrayson: lol
@ReVamp: ?
Yeah, the more I read things on this thread the more I solidify my confidence in my choice of fave DC character: Dick Grayson
Speaking of instinct... Here's Dick schooling Jason on his rare craft.
Dick shows Jason an example now:
Couple more from Teen Titans spotlight below. He had mere seconds to spare before Batman was to be executed at the stroke of midnight.

^^^^^^^^^^ For the record, it wasn't luck. Nightwing's just incredibly gifted.
The scans I provided are actually displays of his timing feats Zero. (Saving Bats from Red Hood @ gunpoint, rescuing bats from an execution, lecturing Jason Todd, etc)
I'll have to go back and edit this post when I find it, but there's a panel in Red Robin where Tim is chasing a perp on the rooftops of Gotham. The dude then fires up a jetpack and leaves Red Robin in the dust. I want to say the villain was Killer Moth. Anyways, Grayson shows up and manages to plant a tracer on the guy by somehow gliding overhead Tim and using a crane to shoot him up further in the air, defying the laws of gravity. Like I said, this happened awhile back in Red Robin and I might not have the best recollection when it comes to RR( own every volume tho) series but it was pretty friggin sweet. It deserves to be in here..
@LuigiBat:OMG yes! Good one!
Last second rescue. Cue Nightwing
(I bet Morrison was pissed over Damian's confession lol)

Thats Jason but fear not Dick has saved Tim's skin a few times.Thought so. Obviously Tim wouldn't end up in such a stupid situation like that, unless of course he had planned the whole thing months in advance ;).

I'd say so, as if I remember correctly GA had been captured and a few of the current Teen Titans (Conner, Cassie, Mia) had gone to rescue him and were getting their asses handed to them. NIghtwing shows up just in time having called the entire cavalry to come take Light down. (Also need to point out I love Conner's thoughts on Nightwing here, how everyone looks to Nightwing for orders) Its an example of not only Dick's timing, leadership skills, but the trust people have in him as well.

Those costumes are all Dick's previous ones in the New 52? Those look like 2-3 different Robin Costumes and 3 different Nightwing Costumes, the updated Discowing outfit being among them
@Nathaniel_Christopher: I won't believe it until I see it next month. DC relaunch has let me down far too many times for me to believe any of what's going on in RHTO is actually legit over in NW..

True, true. But I also just noticed that as far as that series is concerned, when the New 52 Under the Red Hood storyline was taking place Dick was wearing his current costume. Meaning there may have been no blue in this new universe. O_O Though as you said, the New 52 has been lackluster thus far, especially with the Bat family's continuity.

he Bat family's continuity has been bogus but I've loved Batman and Nightwing and liked RHATO so far.

The black and red boxes.
"Its a natural thing when Nightwing shows up. None of us are conscious of it really, but we all look to him for orders. He basically founded the team, led them for years. Robin's lucky. He's got an "Older Brother" type he can relate to".
@Nathaniel_Christopher: I love how in the end he goes "Me? I've got Krypto." xD Man's best friend rite there!
