Is it gonna happen or not?
Dick Grayson
Character » Dick Grayson appears in 9479 issues.
As the first Robin, Dick Grayson was the most famous sidekick in comic book history. As he ventured forth on his own, he formed the Teen Titans and became their leader. When the boy became a man, he became the independent hero known as Nightwing.
When will he pull the trigger?
I don't think he will. Tim Seeley and Tom King are too smart to "pull that trigger". Grayson's fan base would be pissed and they want us to accept and like this new direction. He will shoot someone at some point but not to kill.
I doubt he will. If anything, someone will think he did, and it'll be revealed that he use some knockout bullet or something to fake that person's death.
If it's going to happen, it'll happen towards the end of Grayson because Dick Grayson taking a life with a gun is something that would happen at the climax of the story. How it will happen if it does happen, my guess is that it'll be accidental.
However I don't think that the creative team have the balls to do something like that and neither do I think they should. If one of the main conflicts of Grayson is going to be Dick Grayson adjusting to carrying a gun and trying his hardest to not take a life with a gun, then he should end up winning that battle at the end.
@redwingx: it happened?
@jayc1324: Yea
@i3io_hazard: He didn't shoot an actual person though right?
@i3io_hazard: He didn't shoot an actual person though right?
He used it indirectly.

He used it indirectly.
Indirectly? He didn't kill anyone you mean. I don't think it is possible to shoot a gun indirectly
This is kind of how I viewed Grayson using his gun, to subdue people, or at least attempt to, and not actually killy killy bang bang. Eventually (Seemingly issue 3) he is going to be forced to use his gun to kill someone

I think he throw explosive and explode it with the help of gun.
@blackhawk000111: That makes sense, I can see that being right.
Or he threw the escrimas to make sure Speedster McSpeed stayed inside a certain perimeter, trying to dodge both of them at the same time, being in the middle, and all Dick had to do was shoot in between that margin. The krak could of just been a bullet hitting the wall. I don't know why it would seem like an explosive when hitting the wall, I'm not really good with gun knowledge. I'll just stick with explosive shooting though, seems more badass
That scene is so confusing. I love the artist but his action scenes can be a little hard to follow sometimes.
You know there's a problem when we readers have to guess what happened.
I think it's just cause he was trying to show Super Speed relative to Dick and it comes up as a bunch of blurry gibberish.
Anyway, I like that Dick uses the gun, but not actually to kill people.
