Gotham! That place has enough baddies for everyone rooted there.

Dick should really get a city of his own if he wants to get out of Bruce's massive shadow in Gotham. I suggest a city that's kinda different from Gotham, or maybe have Dick not tied down to one place and see him more as a wanderer. I think that would be great.

I really like the idea of Los Angeles. I like LA because it's bright, energetic, tacky in places and rife with corruption. There is a very thin layer of paint that disguises the darkness... At least, this is how I see the comic in my mind. I see Dick playing the playboy Wayne - the young pseudo-celebrity type who comes to LA to 'do business' but is playing it pretty wild. But then.. in the shadows, we see Nightwing..  This way, Dick does the duel personality thing with all the relationship trappings that offers. Life isn't easy for a young hero in a new town.. Add some skin, flashing lights, shadowy nights, scorching days and some new slimy villians that play the game better than most and you have a GREAT comic...
 
Dick will always be connected to Gotham and the Bat-family.. But I would say there are enough 'Batties' in Gotham to keep things on track there. Get Dick outta there and somewhere new...

 
Dick is already out of Batman's shadow and, contrary to my initial fears, his return to the Nightwing identity solidifies his A-List status. Mentoring Damian and commanding the Bat-Family successfully has proven his mettle as a investigator, martial artist, and leader to the point where leaving Gotham would just be a rehash 90s' storylines.

i would love for him to have his own city as a true sign that he is his own Alist heroe.superman ,green arrow,flash, they all have their own cities to protect being in gotham would only make him an agent to the bat.even if he does things without reporting all his action will be monitored by bruce and he will have a say on what can be done and when things could be done hes nothing more than an aide now.having dick go  back to nightwing wasnt a step down having him work for bruce is.

I like the idea of a rebuilt Bludhaven, I loved him having his own city and an arch nemesis in Blockbuster but with everything that DC has done to this point I think he’s going to be in for awhile. Though the idea of travelling with the circus is kind of cool. But IMO he should have his own city

Gotham City, u could never have too many heroes in Gotham!
And I love seeing the whole Batman Family together, that's always fun for me to read.
But maybe another city. Seeing Nightwing fighting on his own & in a different city (like Bludhaven), u get the sense of him really being on his own.

I hated it when they destroyed Bludhaven - it was the perfect city for Dick and for him to have his own thing going on.

how about Chicago( where Jim Gordon cut his teeth as a cop)- it must still be fairly "mobbed up" even nowadays!
 (and as far as I know no other superheroes-at least in the DC universe has staked a claim to it)

If he stays in Gotham plain and simple (with 99% of the Bat Family in Gotham), Gotham needs to starts getting cleaned up in the crime department, so I say Bludhaven In some way form or fashion get the radiation out of the city, and have them establish a Wayne Steel and Wayne Shipping division there and make him the CEO and establish Haley Circus one of there popular attractions. I wouldnt mind him in Hub City either because what everyone says Hub City is worst than Gotham 

Bludhaven or Gotham.
