This is sort of like Bucky as Captain America and Steve Rogers having a different identity. Considering I've heard people talk that this should happen, I just want to know what would you call Bruce.

If Bruce ever gave up the Batman mantle then I think he'll become the head of a secret group, something like Shield but not affiliated with the Government, keeping his eyes on everyone and everything and planning how to deal with every kind of threat.

In Bruce's mind, he is Batman and nothing else. Bruce Wayne is just a disguise for him.

That's why I don't see Batman doing anything but helping the new one.

If Bruce got too old to go crimefighting, then he could play a similar role that he did in Batman Beyond. Dick would do most of the physical and on-the-scene activities while Bruce would offer heavy support as an intelligence resource.

He'd continue to be Batman until he became too old to do so, or no longer could due to some injury, in which case he'd take up a similar position to the one he had in Batman Beyond. Though seeing how they handled Wally when Barry came back, and how they made Dick go back to being Nightwing already, I don't ever see such an occurence happening. Same thing even happened on Marvel's end, with Bucky becoming Winter Soldier again. (Though Steve also gave up being Cap anyways.) DC doesn't seem to be able to juggle identities between two people for some strange reason; though they somehow manage to have thousands of Green Lanterns without an issue.

He'd probably just sit back and feed information, like he does with Terry when he's Batman.

Aside from that, if he was still physically capable, he'd probably take on some Deep Cover Identity like The Insider (probably using the suit,) or alternatively The Outsider, working with an incarnation of said group.

A new villain. I seriously want a story where one of the previous Robins has to battle against a rouge Bruce.
