So there are 3 girls that I know have a love relationship with Dick Grayson. The first and most popular one would have to be Barbara Gordan (batgirl). Now the story would make sense if Barbara married Dick because if Dick married Barbara then it would show that Dick is a good character and that he would look after Barbara even though she's a handicap. In the comics she gets her legs moving again and then something happens with dick and her causing them to have a fight then Barbara telling him to get out of his life or something like that I can't really remember but they never link up. Another one I know of is Starfire. It would make sense that Starfire marries dick because it would make Dick look like a better character because even though Starfire is a alien, Dick puts those differences aside. But in teen titans him and Starfire break up. The last one I know of is Zatanna in Young Justice. It would make sense because they are both superheroes and obviously they like each other. So you guys decide and if there is someone I missed please tell me who and why they should marry dick.

Perhaps. It's kind of difficult to get comics where I live so everything's imported and expensive. I only really focus on things I know are good and or characters I like. I just felt that it was so out of character for Starfire and am not a fan of new 52 Red Hood or Arsenal, so I dropped it.

It far from Weird. Well, post-Reboot I don't know, but Catwoman once flirted with Dick and I never saw it as anything weird. He's like 25 pre-reboot at least, a 5 or so year gap is hardly a problem.

I think Babs and Jason would make a good couple. Both Gail and Scott seems interested to work with each other and I believe the appearance of Babs in outlaws was planned for a future appearance. I seriously can't wait for a Batgirl/outlaws crossover and for Jason to finally "settle down" I think it'll make a cool couple. Babs taming Jason and all.

• I have, that's hardly the point. The point is that characters being 5 or 6 years apart shouldn't make their relationship immediately "weird". There's a bunch of older women with Younger Men couples IRL.

Good god no. Babs and Jason would make a terrible couple. For Babs dating Jason would be a slap in the face to her morals, and to Dick and even to her cop father, and for Jason dating Babs would just be yet another thing that Dick already did first.

Hell for it to even be sort of sensical, at least one of the characters would have to compromise themselves and go against their character. Babs would have either have to become ok with Jason killing people, or Jason would have to stop killing people. That, or Babs would just become a notch on Jason's belt.

So, ya. Again Babs and Jason would make a terrible couple. It would benefit neither, and probably just serve to piss people off.

Nightwing is my hero that being said I don't really care which chick he ends up with. As for the Babs/Jason thing it would piss sooooooooo many people off.

Oh, and Babs is the only correct answer at this point.

Of course it could change, but with current continuity there really isn't another alternative.

Yeah, it wouldn't be a bad idea if writers know how to do it. Especially now with her "I'm tired of good guys who try to protect me" speech. Jason kinda fits.

Just one thing that I missed with the reboot: how old is Jason? If Dick and Babs are 21, he must be around this same age, right?

Oh, I know they only had sex once, it's because Roy is like a loose when it comes to this and I don't see many things beyond Starfire sexual portrayal so, to me, the mix of them is just that. Editorial choices, whatever, I'm not interested in them XP

It's New 52, we don't know how they used to interact before Jason became Red Hood. (it should be Red Mask, that thing is not a hood, but anyway...) I don't deny the point, but I feel it applies less here, specifically because I don't think they met for the first time until Dick was around 19 years old. But for example I'm thinking of something like Black Canary. At least twice she mentioned interest in Dick Grayson as a lover and she's been shown to love men that are older than Bruce. (I'm pretty sure its been established that Green Arrow is older than Bruce). However she's just two or three years older than Barbara Gordon herself (who in turn is supposedly around two years older than Grayson). It was handled extremely well by Simone, who's interpertation of Black Canary was flawless and we could see that she was a woman that wanted fun and was not closed off to Dick Grayson due to a small age gap. In this particular case I see absolutely no problem with a potential romance -- age wise at least, I'd have had a bunch of problems if it actually happened but that's irrelevant to the debate (or at least at the time that this was happening, in which Green Arrow was dead and DC comics was much different -- at least to me -- than what it is now). What I'm saying is that I'm not sure that the fact that character X being older than character Y makes it weird unto itself, for this age gap at least.

• Hardly. Simone has written the most character defining run on the character, if anyone knows Dinah its Simone. Its hardly unnecessary, its just the fact that she was dating a much older man. When you come to compare things, Green Arrow had twice the age gap to Dinah than Dinah has to Dick. I'm not sure why people (in general) can't understand that they're extremely close in age.

@X9: But its not a new idea, but Jason just retreading what Dick already did. Don't u think they have already done enough of that crap with him, and Tim too even. Want to come up with new ideas, then come up with a new idea. Not have them just repeat things that Dick did. Or have Babs get with guys that are like Dick Grayson, but not quite Dick Grayson.

And even if it is the New 52 we already know Babs is attracted to good guys, Dick Grayson especially, and is not a fan of Jason Todd. U want them to work together for a story fine, i got not problem with that, and the friction can maybe even make for an intriguing read. But them as a couple, no thanks. Rather not see them compromise Babs so Jason can bang yet another one of Dick's exes. Them doing that with Starfire was plenty, thanks.
