personally i think he can do it but it's going to be one heck of a task. Im exicted to know nightwing could get attention hopefully.i wonder what they can do to still make the story interesting. Let me know what you think

I agree with the statment of dick being the only one capable of becoming Batman i mean who knows Batman longer then him and Alfred, no one + dick is as good of a detective as bruce the only one who surpeses them is Tim Drake but in terms of Combat Batman and Nightwing win in that area, between the 3 Dick is the most balanced os them all and i mean u had too see this coming the 1st robin becoming Batman it was due for a long time already, it will be interisting if tim remains as Robin and suports Dick i wonder how that will afect their relationship???

What's the difference of been Nightwing or Batman? the only difference is the cities and that he will wear a full mask and cape.... Gotham wont be a big deal since he was in Gotham to begin with.. he wont be some noob stranger trying to defend Gotham.

Nightwing won't become Batman. Nightwing is and has been an established character of his own from the as far back as the eighties. He won't become Batman. Bruce is and will always and forever be Batman, and has many more years left in him as the Caped Crusader.

i dont tink he will always be batman because DC keeps a timeline making Batman more belivibale more dificult year after year at this point if u read the timeline he should be in is early 60s unless they come up with a way too keep him etarnaly yong, wich i doubt on account of him being and them whanting him too be a human crime fighter

Yea it does...It doesn't matter what you think because you don't know for sure what DC will do with Batman so you can't just say Nightwing won't be Batman because if DC wants to make that way they will do it..who the hell are you to say what will and what will not happen?"

He's not saying it's a fact, it's just what he thinks it's not like he said everyone was retarded and he knew for sure that such and such would happen.

Anyway, I think he'll do a poor job as batman, just because one changes their costume it doesn't make one any better at fighting crime (unless your costume helps you fight crime and your new one is even stronger then the old, which isn't the case for nightwing). I believe he will be overwhelmed and need help then a few volumes later bruce will show up again. If bruce wasn't needed, I don't think he'd be Batman.

If you mean as a character, the only comics I've ever thought were bad were the spirit and scooby doo so I don't think I'll even notice.
