He has a job now! (From Issue #26)

In today's issue, we see that Dick is now making sandwiches at some place called McClellin's. It's definitely not what I expected, but a job is a job and it's nice to see what he's doing while not being Nightwing.

What a pointless reveal. He's got a trust fund from Batman bigger then the lifetime salary of most upper-middle class families. Him making sandwiches is just stupid.

Kinda moot point when in 3 issues, the book finally catches up to Forever Evil and he's not gonna have that job. Owlman already mentioned any friends he made have been hunted and they "leveled" his apartment back in Chicago in Justice League 25.

In the reboot, I don't think so. Plus, he wants to make a name of his own too. Sure, he has a rich parental figure he can just go to for money but he's not the type of character to do that. He's an independent person. He doesn't want Bruce's money.

^Yup. Since his series is taking place behind FE for some strange reason nothing happening now really matters all that much.

He lost his trust fund when he put it all into Haley's Circus and it closed down. It was also brought up later that he could have asked Bruce for another but that there was no way he was willing to do that especially when they are on the outs from Death of a Family.

See? Everything was cool about his series before FE! Finally things were picking up and stuff. Then Geoff Johns decided instead of leaving the character alone he rather act like Miley Cyrus and come in like a Wrecking Ball by changing is Status Quo majorally. Now all the recent issues development is totally useless, Justice League 25 commented on this, too.

There's not enough oxygen at the top of the mountain to keep Nightwing's fire burning. Apparently anytime Dick Grayson is within reach of stardom creative thinks it's cool to step in and dash our hopes by introducing huge changes to his title. As a result his stock is constantly on the up and up just before the inevitable decline. Bogus as hell.
