THE GOOD: Mateus Santolouco is an amazing artist and I'm glad that he is on a book like this. His whole style just defines the book with a tone and a feeling that is something I hope stays in the book for a long while. The backgrounds are consistent and the expressions are telling. He also draws actions scenes very well. The story is very complex and will probably require a few read through to completely grasp that whole meaning in this issue. We get to see Manteau save Nelson and introduce him ...

The title of this issue, and the sense of strange wonderment and oddness along with the character designs, gives it a certain Doom Patrol feel while still being quite original. The words “come here, I need you” were also featured in Grant Morrison’s Doom Patrol run in regards to another monstrous entity connected to the telephone system. In the words of the psychic La Sirena, “those words were a summoning”.The bulk of this story concerns exposition on the Dial’s history, Manteau, and the forces ...

Dial H #3 was amazingManteau is a interesting character plus she is also has a Dial for transformingThere wasn't many hero transformations like in #2 but we did get to see Boy Chimney again with his own team called Team House and they were fighting a Rake Dragon plus Nelson transform into a Mustard/Sippy Cup man briefly and the best part is when Nelson transform into a Female Hero named Baroness Resin and Manteau told Him/Her to "Woman Up" XDI gave this 5 Stars :D...

****BROAD OVERVIEW, MINOR SPOILERS****I have mixed feelings about this title. When I read the interviews about it online, I was actually excited, because it hinted at some characters returning from the Chris & Vicki run of Dial H For Hero, back in the 1980's. Now that it's here though, it's...weird. Those characters are here, and that's great, but the rest...I don't know. Maybe I just don't like the main character that much.
