Demon Killer
Origin
A military man who enjoys killing more than anything else, Eric becomes a hit-man after his stint in the marines. Giving it up after he kills the wife and child of an innocent man, he joins a devil cult which, by invoking armies of demons, is planning to conquer the world. Working with black magic has its good points: it arms Eric with his mystic cloak and helps him develop ESP and other telepathic powers. On the downside, however, Eric learns that the demons intend to destroy humankind when they come to power. Thus, he turns on his comrades and uses his skills new and old to become a demon-killer.
Powers
Devil-Slayer uses a collection of swords, knives, spears, maces, axes and other medieval arms.
His cape is a Shadow Cloak whose inter-dimensional pockets open into an armory form which Payne draws weapons as needed. Devil-Slayer can step into his cape to teleport distances of up to several miles.
