Plot Summary

A "Faces of Evil"issue starring Hush! Following the events of "Heart of Hush," this two-part story starts here and ends in the pages of this month's BATMAN #685. Catwoman has a score to settle with Hush after their most recent encounter, but Hush isn't likely to take any attacks quietly. Will anyone be able to temper Selina's rage, or will she become a face of evil again?

Hush is recovering from his battle at the Batcave.  He is down on himself for underestimating his enemy and also for Catwoman taking his entire fortune away.  He finally makes his way to the bridge his father drove off after he tampered with his car and jumps.

He is found by a couple of fishermen that recognize him as Bruce Wayne.  Hush goes along with it, makes up a story and manages to get sixty dollars from them.  Cleaning himself up, he uses the last of his money to tip his way into Gotham's most exclusive club.  There is again mistaken for Bruce and makes time with a older socialite.  Taking advantage of her, he convinces her to take her yacht out for a cruise.  Once at sea, he kills her and the captain.  He then sells the yacht for eight hundred grand in cash and buys a fake passport with Bruce Wayne's name.

Hush flies out to Sydney and gets more money from a company that Wayne Entertainment is a majority owner.  He buys some tailored clothes and has comes across a crime in progress with Tasmanian Devil going after the bad guys.  Not knowing if he knows Batman or Bruce, he is on edge but makes it away safely.

Hush then goes to Vietnam to get more money from another of Wayne Enterprises' holdings.  When the manager takes too long, Hush notices police in the office and decides to take off.  Speeding through the jungle, he is soon driven off the road.  He wakes up, tied up, at the feet of a bunch of mercenaries...with Catwoman sitting in the middle.

In this issue Hush is on the run after the events of R.I.P., and he discovers he can put his new resemblence to Bruce Wayne, and the good nature from people shown to Bruce Wayne to work for him. It is pretty cool when you can see a villain who is smart using his brains to get what he wants.
I would be willing to admit that the aftermath of R.I.P. is much better than the actual story line. This character has been more interesting than I first thought he was. I am really jazzed t see where the story takes us.
