This series has been so consistently entertaining. The writing, covers and interiors are a magnificent combination that should never be separated like the tasty layers of a fine tiramisu.

I liked that some small details were worked in from other titles too which explained to me more about Holly Robinson and the new lives of the Riddler and Harley. This is mostly a Harley tale but it's the Riddler's story, if that makes any sense. Either way, it's nice to see them get attention.

There's a really great quote by Harley: "When science mixes with magic, the results can be ugly!"

I'm left wondering if these Amazons are tied in to the Green Arrow & Black Canary title which leaves off in issue #1 with them as rather suspicious. Are they the real Amazons? Are they under one of Granny's spells? Didn't Granny destroy all the Amazons except Wonder Woman after Amazons Attack?

I love the tie ins to Countdown. It opens up sooo many doors. This one showed what happened to Harley after her falling out with the Joker and joining the Secret Six and what became of that to her taking the job as assistant to Athena at the Amazon Women Shelter. This cemented the fact that the shelter is in fact a training facility for a new breed of female fury. Athena is Granny Goodness and Desaad has been shown.

Holly (ex Catwoman)Robinson was pretty funny with her faces as Harley fought to help the Riddler out who has been given an assignment by Bruce Wayne...in reality a test to see if the Riddler will stay good and giving him money so the Riddler will not be tempted to go back to crime. Very well done issue...and I am loving the covers.
