Nice! We see the origin of the new Ventriloquist, the daughter of a crime lord forced into a loveless marriage with an abusive crime boss that shot her in the head! She survives, and finds Scarface in the same building (her husband killed the original Ventriloquist in the same incident.) And both of them seek revenge.
This issue had a few moments that made you look back at the earlier issue, showing how much care the writer put into this story. Of course Zatanna had to take a part in this, because of Dini being the writer.
The usual Dini goodness, added with Nyugen's awesome artwork. A nice story.
