The phenomenon that is "rebooting" in DC nowadays forces all DC writers to write up a spectacular ending in their respective assignments. Detective Comics 881 never fails to impress many readers, more so comic reviewers. I can offer something in this discourse: the story simply rocks to the core! One will appreciate more if he/she reads back one of the most essential, if not the perennial, readings in Batman-literature: THE KILLING JOKE. End of an Era 0

In the last issue of Detective Comics in this run, Batman (Dick Grayson) races to try and save Barbara Gordon from her sociopathic brother James, who has put her in a surefire death trap. As Batman struggles to locate her, James reveals his twisted plan to turn Gotham's next generation of children into sadistic sociopaths just like himself and The Joker. The Perfect End to Snyder's Run 0

I've been anticipating this issue for 2 weeks and it does NOT disappoint!  Jock's art is PERFECT for this issue and the writing is great!  The monologue given by the villain is one of the best comic villain monologues I've ever read.  You get the perfect blend of intent, past, and craziness.  If this villain sticks around, he may end up giving Joker a run for his money for how creepy things can get.    The last few pages are not only a great ending to Scott's run, but a great ending to the serie...
