First off, I like how the authors took a historical fact, one that I knew nothing about until I researched it after reading this issue, and made it a part of this story.  The Batholomew Fair is and interesting twist on this story.  I like how this story of the impostor joker has woven.  I've just started with Detective Comics again with the beginning of this storyline.  I really like how it gives me the Batman I've always like... the detective.  Maybe I've been away from the Dark Knight for too ...

Just Read It. It's Insane. 0

The Good:  The tone is seriously dark, but the kind of dark that's always creeping up on you and breathing down your neck. Everything looks all 90's and cartoony, but that just makes it more unnerving. Batman says it all, "It's laughter... but it's not funny."Adding to that erie quality is the pacing of the story.
