Batwoman faces off against Alice in an attempt to stop the villainess from unleashing a toxic death cloud over all of Gotham! But Alice has more up her sleeve than just poison, and Batwoman's life will never ever be the same again. Plus, The Question's search for a missing girl leads Renee to a human trafficking ring, and the Question suddenly finds herself in way over her head.

Elegy, Part Four. 0

Unfortunately, this story is coming to an end.  With much disappointment, it's been a fun ride and I really did not want it to end already.  Beware, digression coming... I head the song "1952 Vincent Black Lightning" last night and it made me think of Batwoman.  The song talks about red heads and motorcycles, with Batwoman, you get a red head that rides a motorcycle.  Although it's a Ducati.  Ok, Digression over... The art continues to impress me with this story.  The first page... the two faces...

Groundbreaking panels. 0

The only attraction I had for this issue was the art but that alone was not a saving grace. But I can't deny the creativity displayed by J.H. Williams. The choices hes made when laying out this "Elegy" storyline has been mind blowing. It really challenges my perspective on comic book story telling. If Rucka had a say in how the panels were laid out then he obviously deserves some accolades as well but I have a sneaking suspicion that this was exclusively J.H. Williams.
