    There's been a series of assassinations in the criminal underworld – and The Penguin is among Batman's first suspects! But when seemingly ordinary women become part of the killings, Batman discovers a common denominator that leads him on the trail of a vicious killer who is spiraling down a path of destruction. Bruce Wayne's girlfriend, investigative reporter Charlotte Rivers, ends up on the killer's hit list. And with her missing, can Batman uncover the layers of lies and deception within the underworld in time to save her?

    Note: Catwoman, Hugo Strange and Eli Strange only appear in the backup story, Russian Roulette.

    See that cool cover? Tony Daniel does the cover, just as he has done for all the previous issues, as well as doing the writing and drawing duties. But man, that's a cool cover. Penguin kinda looks like Danny DeVito's the Penguin mixed with the 60's Penguin. He looks cool. And that cover tag line? "Batman... Penguin... Only One Controls Gotham!" Sounds and looks awesome right. Yeah, well, it's NOT!Seriously, this comic isn't worth the $2.99 price tag. It's not even worth half that. It's definitel...

    Nothing there 0

    BadI'm not sure that there is even enough story in this comic for me to review it. The plot advances at a snails pace and it ends as soon as it begins. Batman seems to have become really dumbed down in this book, he has fallen into a trap almost every issue. Batman is all about a hero who can over come anything by sitting down and thinking things through, but here Batman just walks straight into the middle of an angry mob. Also the Joker's face story arc is not interesting as it is an abominatio...

    Confusing 0

    This issue had issues. It started off strong, it seemed like we were going to get more info on the Joker or his disfigured face, but that quickly went away. Batman witnessed some bad stuff, chased a dude, beat some people up and then boom! The Penguin is there. That was the issue. It was very disappointing. This disappointment then turned into confusion when suddenly a backup story started.This "backup" story was very confusing because it really had nothing to do with anything that has happened ...
