    When Batman gets a fever, Batgirl and Robin team up to fight crime! And in “Legend of the Lovers' Lantern,” Sue Dibny buys a supposedly supernatural lovers' lantern at an auction house, but is robbed after leaving the gallery.

    1. Batgirl Breaks Up the Dynamic Duo!

      Batgirl learns of a robbery at the Arts Museum and chases after the crooks. Batman and Robin arrive to help out and during the encounter Batman lands in the swamp. Batgirl notices that there is something wrong with Batman, and later learns that Batman has been infected with Swamp Fever, which after one to seven days causes a full body collapse. Fearing Batman may collapse while fighting crime, Batgirl tells Robin what's going on and the two team-up, deciding to pretend that Robin has abandoned his partnership with Batman in favor of one with Batgirl. The two use this deception to always remain a step ahead of Batman in stopping crimes. After 7 days, the fever takes effect and knocks Batman out. Finally, with the help of Robin, Batman get's the medical treatment he needs. (Batman and Robin / written by Gardner Fox has been Reprinted in: Batman Family #2, Batgirl #1)
