    Sacre Bleu!

What have zey done to zee Batman?

Still in Europe after his recent run-in with The Monk, Batman gets involved in a mystery in Paris.
This issue is full of weird - in a ridiculous kind of way.

There's a guy with no face (no eyes, no nose, no mouth) but somehow he lives and talks.
And he's not the only one that shouldn't be able to talk but does anyway - there's also a field full of flowers with human faces that talk to Batman and help him. I'm not kidding.

The whole thing is so silly, you just want it to be a dream or something.
But it's not. Too bad, because Bob Kane's turns in some of his most iconic Golden Age Batman panels in this issue.
