Gotham has a new creative team. And it's glorious!

    The Good

Well, firstly can I give some love to my canadian brother Francis Manapul! Goodness! What glorious artwork! I loved so much the panel layouts in the Flash and now that passes on to a great Batman book. I love the panels as Batman swings through Gotham.

The story is great. I feel like it is a perfect story for Detective Comics. I like that it picks up the ties from the Zero Year Flash issue. It ties in nicely and I totally could get behind a thing like this happening in Gotham.

The colors are a nice touch too. Its a really sleek and almost mild look to Gotham, compared to how it looks in Snyder's Batman. It is a nice change.

    The Bad

There are some people that I don't really dig, the design of them. I feel like the bicker dudes don't really belong in Gotham. I didn't like Mr. Squid either.

    The Verdict

Another Batman book that I can read. Perfect. I loved what Manapul and Buccelato did with the Flash so I am totally on board! I will be faithful until they switch to something else. I hope these guys have a lot of stories ready to go for Batman.

    Everything is awesome.

The move from Central City to Gotham isn’t as startling as you might expect, and the duo set the feel of the story right from the opening panels.Part one of the Icarus storyline is mostly set-up, introducing characters, ideas and locations, but ...

One of the best modern age stories!!! 0

This has to be one of the best modern age comics I have read in a long time!!! If your a older comic collector or know your comics you know that the modern age has took a step back or two. The stories are not as interesting and it seems like they will put anything out these days. This is the exception Batman Detective Comics 30. This is an amazing story with amazing art and it keeps you tuned in till the end!!! It shows so many new sides to Bruce Wayne and Batman you may not have seen in past i...
