Full of Wrath but signifying nothing
The beginning of a new arc brings a new deadly vigilante and his disciples to Gotham as both Bruce Wayne and Batman both find themselves under attack by those who would like to take their place. Writer John Layman reboots a completely forgettable late 2000's Lex Luthor ripoff in E.D. Caldwell that doesn't do much for me, and the ease with which Batman takes down Wrath's first lieutenant doesn't make me think the man's boss should be much of a challenge either. We're also stuck with several pages wasted on a Man-Bat back-up story involving the nowhere-near-shocking revelation of who is responsible for a series of grizzly recent murders in Gotham.
