When we last left the Demon Knights, who have of exactly one Demon and one Knight among their ranks, Vandal Savage had turned on the group and sicked a big motherf*cking Triceratops on the town. Exorsistos, feeling guilty for allowing the little girl to die a few issues ago charges in and, armed with only a stone war hammer, completely annihilates the giant rampaging dinosaur with one mighty swing. Vandal Savage appears turned on by this, but not so much that he won't send in the robot Dragons. ...

I remember the original solicit for this issue. The cover depicted Exoristos with a costume that had a browner hue that blended with the rest of the cover, and looked more like her actual costume, bette than the real cover where she's dressed in a painfully eye-catching bright green. There are some interesting parallels between this series and Justice League thus far. Whereas justice League has been basically been one long action sequence, this series has taken some time to develop the characters a bit more profoundly. Thus in comparison whereas Justice League has been all-action (and relied on the reader's previous knowledge of these characters) this series didn't have that luxury but in its buildup has actually managed to make a more enjoyable battle sequence than the on...
