Although he began as one of Captain America’s closest allies during a difficult time for the patriotic hero, much of his life following that has proven hard. Recently he has started working as Sam Wilson's pilot and field back up.

    Is he even considered a super hero anymore?

    I mean he is homeless and delusional so can he be considered a superhero anymore?

    He never was much of a character anyway, so who cares?   
    Maybe Deadpool could take him under his wing as a partner and they could have some "insane" adventures.

    It could be, but Deadpool would really have to carry the story unless the writer & artist were somehow able to do the impossible; make D-Man interesting and likable.
