    Demetrio Sánchez Gómez was born in the town of Pilar de la Horadada in the southeast of Spain. He has worked as the inker of the artists Jordi Franch and of Fuentes Man on El Hijo de Tarzán. In the 1960s he furthermore made series like La Conquista de la Luna in Información and Grago in La Verdad. He was also present at publishers like Bernabéu and Dalmau Socias with comics like Agente Secreto del CIA and Tumac.

    He has worked extensively for the foreign market. For the American publisher Charlton he has illustrated romance, war, ghost, and western stories through the Union Studio. His work has also appeared in Bastei Verlag's Gespenster Geschichten in Germany.

    From the 1990s on he has mainly worked for the British market.
