Dellec´s motives
In this particular issue we see what happened to Dellec in the past, so what made him the man he is today. It´s definitely cool when you find out something about what a character drives to do the things he does but here it was just boring.
Dellec had a wife who was later killed by a young woman by ripping her heart out...ouch! Dellec swears revenge. So that is his motive to fight evil (the young woman is the impersonated evil). Then the story jumps into the present and Dellec tracks down a serial killer who loves killing prostitutes (he thinks that he´ll find the one who killed his wife). Unfortunately, he is too late to save the girl from the serial killer and to make things worse he is later wrongly accused of being the one who killed the prostitutes. It seems this guy has a lot of bad luck!
I didn´t really enjoy this issue because it was really boring especially the part in the past. The artwork was okay but not breathtaking. It seems that Dellec is the black sheep in the family of Aspen´s sometimes really great books. I wouldn´t pick this book up, there are a lot of better books out there.
