This is a list of comic book/manga characters in general who are very much dead or uncertain but suspected of dying and how they died from all universes.
I wish I knew that answer. I'd like to get into the mind of the heads at Marvel, myself. It just seems like they're trying to do anything for the sake of selling comics. But that's the cynical side talking.
In the wake of Messiah CompleX, there are no X-Men and mutantkind still lies in ruin. With Magneto depowered and Xavier gravely injured, it seems their reign as the preeminent mutants has ended. thanks for clearing that up, i thought he was dead, because of what cyclops said regarding their being no more x-men
i will tell you this, i thought the art was horrible in chapter 13. i wish they would have kept the same artist, it was hard to stay interested for me because of how sloppy it was.
Only in the Ultimate Universe, and even in that universe, he was only captured by Cable and taken to the future, but the X-Men and the rest of the world believe him dead.
Until they make it clear all we can do is guess. I could see them just killing off Electra this way, but do not think they would have BB go out this way. Saying that though, thier recent track record could very well mean thier both dead, so who knows.
@xerox-kitty: Wayyy too many. Those were just the ones that came to mind (been re-reading some Uncanny trades lately). Oh, adding Beautiful Dreamer to that list. (Been re-reading X-Force as well). Oh! and Peepers!

Kurt was the first X-man my little nerd self grew close to back in the day,I had a soft spot for the elf
@Emperor Gonzo Noir: And you forgot that he died. V_V SMH. :P Emma and X-23 were always my favorites. (Evolution and WatX-Men are what nudged me into comics, as well as Justice League and JLU).
@xerox-kitty: Wasn't it Fever Pitch? I remember him self-detonating and Arch-Angel having to take to the skies with somebody (could have been Laura) to get them away from the blast.
Ariel...that death was cheap for me. Very death for death's sake.
@xerox-kitty: I can't remember, either. Just checked the trade page though and Fever Pitch is listed, so it could be him. Death as well as great story telling and awesome art. Choi...he and Sonia make one heck of a team.
