It really bugged me when Deathstroke showed up as one of the Crime Syndicate's lackeys in Forever Evil. I know he's with Luthor and the gang now, but it just didn't fit his character. Slade has a massive sense of honor and I don't think he'd ever let himself be bought by pure evil, unless someone was threatening his family. I figured that was the case (like when he trounced the Ravagers), but his conversion to the "good" team seemed like a bit of a cop-out.

Does anyone know Deathstrokes motives for joining the Crime Syndicate, or was it just sloppy writing?
