@SoA: Yesterday the trailer was exclusive to GameSpot. You might've noticed the GameSpot watermark on the video. Warner Bros sent us the file this morning and now it's on our video player. That's how exclusive stuff usually works. And I didn't post these screenshots yesterday.

to showcase strength and for a cool visual i think you should see the bullets bounce off superman and he can take reduced damage for deathstroke and any other firearm character they might have.

@G-Man: true but it does seem a bit repetitive , you have to admit that much even if it is by a slight margin , i understand what you mean but this is how it appears : " here is a trailer for a new character! " cool! " today we have the same trailer but we get to call it our own !" uh cool? , and yes those are new screenshots but you posted them after i commented, so it really doesn't help the fact i have seen the same trailer twice on CV in almost the same fashion . just pointing it out not being aggressive lol

@SoA: Actually I posted them as soon as I posted the trailer but because they were large files, it took a bit to upload. Also, you have to keep in mind, some users only visit certain areas. There are some that only check out the trailers here or even on our YouTube channel. The article I posted yesterday was about the comic character. Just looking at the title, you don't realize that the game footage is being shown. There might be some that could care less about what he does in the comics and really want to see anything about the game. I'm not making you watch this. I'm just doing my job as the dude running this site to make sure everyone interested catches it.

@G-Man: i actually liked the little facts and background about deathstroke before showing the trailer , it worked out pretty nice . you should think about making any more future reveals like that , almost like the 3-minute expert videos .the background info leading to a surprise trailer was cool and deathstroke is one of my favorite DC characters so it was cool how it was presented .

Amazing gameplay. I'd be tempted to play Deathstroke and only Deathstroke by how kick@$$ he is.

His special is insane. This game can't come out soon enough.

Hopefully this means that Aquaman, and maybe even Lobo and Black Manta are in this game too.

@SmashBrawler: i think so since 3 of those characters from ed boons tweet is already in the game besides aquaman and ed boon talked about lobo being a DLC though not in the storyline.

ed boon also tweeted swamp thing, animal man, batwing, supergirl, batgirl, and powergirl, so i hope swamp thing does.

The Guns look quite wimpy, nothing overly badass about them.

That said Slade looks like a blast to play as!

Man, Deathstroke delivers the business to Green Arrow and Wonder Woman in this trailer.

At first I thought Wonder Woman was Hawkman. Which got me thinking that he would be awesome in this game too.

While i love Deathstroke I have mixed feeling on how he looks.

Damn, I hope that rumor about Swamp Thing and Lobo being in it is true.

@k4tzm4n: Yeah I could see that being a b!tch but so does downplaying Superman to the point were weak @sses are taking him out with bullets and wooden nightsticks lol at least throw out a powerup where the bullets are kyrptonite grade or something. I mean whats the point of playing Superman if the only thing super about him is the S on his chest. Might as well be this dude out there getting jobbed by every street leveler and his mom.

@Gambler: Hey man, I don't see people complaining when Deadpool rocks Hulk Marvel vs Capcom or Stryker humiliates Ermac (cop vs insanely powerful being? I'll take the cop!) in MK ;)

I'll just have to agree to disagree about playing as Superman. Yeah, you'll get hurt by strikes from Nightwing or generic arrows from Ollie, but I'm looking for a realistic gameplay balance that'll be fun, and for the devs to come up with counter-measures for each character would be crazy time consuming and just an unrealistic request IMHO. I understand why that's off-putting for you, but I'm okay with it seeing as it's a fighting game. Besides, they claim there will be some kind of reasoning for the power reduction. What is it? I've got no idea, lol.

He still falls under the "power" play style and has some awesome special moves at his disposal. So, you'll still feel like a powerhouse with your moves and have a wide variety of his powers to deploy. And DAT SPECIAL? Looks like a blast to use.

@k4tzm4n: Its cool, I'll jump on the agree to disagree bandwagon with ya. Cause theres no way you're going to sell me on Superman being low-balled to the point of getting hurt by Grayson and Ollie's normal attacks as fun or balanced lol regardless of what Pool is doing. But thats pretty weak to as far as I'm concerned (Hulk jobbing for street levelers). And I dont think it would take much time at all, they were adding special counter measures for characters back in the Mike Tyson's Punch Out Era so I'm not buying they would have had to put an unrealistic amount of time coming up with a strategy so Sups isnt just another punching bag. I'm not saying he has to be the ultimate Superman but getting hurt by the ordinary bullet is disappointing, for me anyway.

But yeah, this is something that you either accept or loathe in fighting games. After all, you can technically take down Galactus with a final shield toss in MvC.

@k4tzm4n: lol its not as bad as I thought. The game looks pretty cheesy compared to the vids of Injustice

So far there is a great number of characters from MK vs DC in this. I really didn't think Deathstroke had a chance because he was in that game already. The other thing is this Deathstroke is without a doubt based more off of the New 52 Deathstroke then the previous Deathstroke. What ever. He looks like he'll be fun.

Like that wasn't obvious but anyway awesome! Now for Beast Boy, Arsenal, Garth, Raven, Starfire and Donna Troy. Ooh Black Canary, Zatanna and Cheetah too.

I think it's a safe be that all the playable a from MK vs DCU are gonna return in this game.

I feel that did a great costume design for Deathstroke! Really looking forward to playing as this character in a game.

that was awesome! Deathstroke is probably my favorite comic book character of all time, and now he is in this game that is going to be awesome. awesome + awesome = epic x New 52 = off the charts epicness too epic for the average himan mind to comprehend.

@Gambler: Well I understand how you feel about superman taking damage but in Fighting games the gameplay balance supersedes the the power balance within the story. I would bet money that Superman will be bulletproof in cutscene but in game will be lanced accordingly. The games would be boring if certain character became useless. Save those things for boss fights like in MK where bosses would be immune to certain projectiles. LIke another poster alluded to earlier, the game would become Superman vs Characters of similar power levels pretty quick. What would be a better idea is to give Superman atttacks with Super Armor properties. Where he will take the damage but not experience hit stun. That would be a fair trade off that preserves gameplay and the sense that you are superman and bullets (and other projectiles) are deflected off of your pecs of Truth , Justice, and the American way!
