Deathstroke Batman Ras al Guhl speculation

This is completely just what I think could happen and has no I repeat no basis on anything more than speculation. 
So Deathstroke is getting his own book in the relaunch. I was looking at the picture in the solicits an something caught my eye.

Notice the Batman like gauntlets? now sure, those are something that does exist in reality and I'm pretty sure it did before Batman too, but in comics how often have we seen other characters with no connection to Batman wearing those? Is "never" to strong an answer? Well here's what I've got. In Batman Begins we got an interesting take on Ras al Guhl being a big part of Bruce's training before becoming Batman. Bats continued to wear the gauntlets of the League of Shadows/Assassins in this universe. In the current canon, during the resurrection of Ras Al Guhl story line Talia gives Batman a pair of gauntlets stating that they're a "family heirloom".
Could Deathstroke's past be altered to share a connection with Batman and Ras Al Guhl? Could he also be a student of the League of Shadows/Assassins?

Notice tha fact everybody in Begins even Ken Watanabe have a version of those gloves. 
Watanabe have a golden version of them.
