What Would You Think About Life...

...If Death was Your Older Sister?

I just finished reading Sandman #8, an issue about Dream, one of the Endless sitting and moping until someone comes along, his big sister, who ends up helping him out with his mood and issues by showing him her duties, what its like.

The issue than concludes with the question stated above, and I was wondering if anyone had an answer.

I think my little sister is trying to kill me, does that count?

I would feel kind of important but I don't think my over-all outlook would be affected too much.

Well personally I think anyone would see it in a brighter light but than again that's just based upon the assumption that your older sister would be as kind and cheerful as the one in Sandman :P

I'd think that nobody was gonna mess with me.

Ah, what I wouldn't give to have not read all of the Sandman yet.  I re-read it about every other year, but there's no substitute for not knowing what's gonna' happen.

read it...then read Lucifer, its a "spin-off" of Sandman

lmfao, and in the comics her purpose was to help you understand life, what a great way to twist their intent :P

I'd feel pretty damn safe, and like I always had someone to talk to an ask for advice. Death is just so together and so, peaceful.

If Death was my sister I would feel invincible. I would talk her into letting me get away with all kinds of crazy things that would normally likely kill me. I would guilt the crap out of her into extending my life, then make a living as a stuntman or daredevil.

I have always wanted an older sister. I would just think it would be so cool. I firmly believe that Death would be undoubtedly the coolest and best older sister a person could have!
