As much as I would love to say that the Deadpool/GLI summer fun spectacular was ... well, spectacular, I just can't. It was pretty good, yes, but not spectacular. Although there are some fun revelations ( Deadpool's face, his dating fetish ) and the breaking of the fourth wall is always fun ( mentions of continuity ), still there wasn't really any "spectacular" in the summer spectacular. It was definitely fun. It was definitely entertaining. Am I glad that I bought it? Yes, I think that I am. But a certain lack of spectacular makes me a little disappointed. They should change the name to summer fun iffy comic book.
