Deadpool
Character » Deadpool appears in 3332 issues.
Wade Wilson is a former test subject of the Weapon X program, where he received his regenerative healing factor through the scientific experiments conducted upon him. A prominent enemy, ally and later, member of X-Force. He's famous for breaking the Fourth Wall.
Will He have a role in Seige??
bendis said that it would mainly affect the avengers books. ** Spoilers** it's all about osborn laying siege to asgard or something** End Spoilers**
" I doubt he will have any part in Siege. "He doesn't deserve a role in Siege, he's a joke.
Since it's centered around Asgard I don't see how or why Deadpool would have anything to do with Siege.
" @John Valentine: It's not a question of deserve. It's a question of what makes sense. Deadpool wouldn't have any ties to this story. It an avengers crossover. Deadpool is only a reserve Avenger. "
A joke of a character having a role in a Universe-changing event? No, he does not deserve to be there.
To the best of my knowledge it is about Norman attacking Asgard, Atlantis, and Wakanda ........ and stuff like that. So why would Deadpool be involved
"Deadpool hasn't been confirmed to be part of Siege, so until he is... his next big event is part of Doom Wars. And since Brain stated that this event will basically only affect the avengers its probably safe to say that Wolverine and Thing won't be part of it either.@Deadstroke:
what about wolverine and thing there in the same pic what there not gonna be in siege as well
I thought Siege was a Marvel wide event that was all about knocking Osborn off the throne and finally getting some proper order in the Marvel U again...
" @Vortex13:@John Valentine: Then why is he so popular? Do I detect a hint of jealousy? Does someone want a certain other character to get a certain spotlight? "
Maybe because he mainly appeals to twelve year old morons.
Maybe he won't since he''s be busy witht the Deadpool Corps
" @Vortex13:@John Valentine: Then why is he so popular? Do I detect a hint of jealousy? Does someone want a certain other character to get a certain spotlight? "I honestly think he gives people like me a bad name, as well as several other characters. Also, why would I be jealous of a fictional character? lol
" @Abnormally Warm Guy: A current Avenger? I thought he quit? I guess I stand corrected. "He's been dealing with Nation X and this was said in Dark Reign: The List - Avengers, so he's just been really busy
" @John Valentine said:Maybe they would if he actually did something for a change." A joke of a character having a role in a Universe-changing event? No, he does not deserve to be there. "This is how people should respond to Sentry being in every Marvel event. "
" @Vance Astro said:That was the only thing he did in that entire series. He was in all the events since he became an Avenger and he does nothing or very little in all of them."Maybe they would if he actually did something for a change. "He fought WWH. He's also getting very good at the whole apparently dying/coming back thing. He can have a nice, long talk about it with Jean Grey if/when she next returns. "
no but if it was up to me he would make only a cameo at the end Norman will just make it out of there alive it will look like he got away and home free when bam he run into deadpool with a gun ponited to his for head end there.
i heard that "deadpool will be part of the end of norman but only in his own mind.".. i dont know what that means.... haha
Not quite. The majority of Deadpool fans I've seen are far from 12 year old morons. Let's take G-Man for instance. Clearly not a 12 year old moron. Deadpool is a popular character with a very extensive fan-base. Whining about it isn't going to halt that in any way. Come off of it." @CrimsonComedian said:

I can honestly say that I've seen very few 12 year old kids who even read comics, let alone like a character that not many people know of outside of comic book fans. I'd say he appeals more to teenagers and adults who like comics with both humor and violence, which is what makes Deadpool so great. If you're not a fan of the character, so be it, but don't go around smiting him every chance you get. It's pretty annoying.

* Oh wait, I'm English.
That's great. His humour is unfunny, and his current series is just utter crap. I would be suprised if he mainly appealed to teenangers and adults. Tbh, I don't even care. I dislike the character and I intend to voice my opinion.

Daniel way is a horrible, talentless writer. Marvel has at least a dozen better books.
The "tbh, I don't care" was in reference to the people who read Deadpool; I don't care who reads the book.
I spend so much time "slamming and arguing with everyone" to voice my opinion.

The number of series a writer scripts is no indication as to his/her abilitiy. Daniel Way has written some of the worst ever Wolverine stories - Romulus? Wtf, just no; he's literally just after Jeph Loeb in terms of poor quality Wolverine writing. Fraction writes Invincible Iron Man (mediocre-good) and Uncanny X-Men (poor, poor, poor quality); he's also written Punisher War Journal (terrible). Jeph Loeb was writing Hulk and Ultimatum at the same time.
It just so happens that a few writers can release several titles a month which are more than satisfactory standard (Johns, Bendis (ish))- that is by no means the rule.
All I'm saying is that if he is as horrible a writer as you propose, not too many people would buy his books, which have obviously been selling for a while. If he is that bad of a writer, his titles wouldn't last long. A lot of people enjoy his writing. It entertains." @Mutant X said:

He writes two Wolverine-centric books and another starring Deadpool. All revolve around mindless action and popular characters; it's not really a suprise that they're popular books, but, in truth, they lack substance. Action and violence are no substitute for decent writing.

why would you come to a deadpool forum to bash him? makes no sense
"The months ahead are going to be a tumultuous time for the Marvel Universe. A number of event stories will be rocking the MU to it's core, and Deadpool has a part to play in one of them; "DoomWar," a five issue mini-series which begins in February and finds Wade Wilson aiding The former and current Black Panthers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four in a battle against Doctor Doom. The "Deadpool" series won't be tying in to "DoomWar," but it's possible that the series may have a fun nod to "Siege," the Avengers story that begins next month. "Norman Osborn is going up against not only the Norse Gods, but the assembled classic Avengers [as well]," Way said. "That's some Must See TV for Wade Wilson. It's the Thrilla-In-Manilla. He's got to see it."
therefore he is in it .... and it was a valid question thanks korg

Deadpool I predict will play a huge part. He's usually the main part of the arc ends. House of M he brought baby cable through the portal ending that. Secret Invasion he found out were the the Skrull Queen was. Civil war he flushed out Cap's secret avengers and forced them to make there move faster then they wanted. Messiah War he lead X-Force to Stryfe. He'll prob kill stormin' norman not get any credit and be forced back the corner they keep him in until he's needed to be comic cannon fodder once again.
