    yes at first back in the early 90's deadpool started out as parody on deathstroke. they made deadpool marvels verion of deathsroke -funny, and uh not lame. plus ut was never an issue because deapool was only a B charcter. but now he is finally an a-lister.

    deathstroke is nowhere near captain america!   Deadpool isnt a ripoff  but a unique parody of  death stroke

    Yeah, he was originally more of a parody. "Slade Wilson" - "Wade Wilson." But he's not so much anymore.
