I can relate to him more than the other heroes. 
 
He's a man who wants something and gives it his all in order to get it, he's not a quitter. He also has a need for being loved. He wants to make as many friends as he can even if they don't want to be his friends......plus he's hilarious.

Having an awesome sense of humor, a love of violence, and being quite fugly myself, I relate to him more than other characters :D 
Also he's one of the few mutants that are able to take on wolverine with a fighting chance. And while not exactly being a hero, he can act as necessary without  having to think about the good or bad morality of what hes doing, whilst adding some pazzaz

I always liked the funny yet not as insane as he'd like you to think Deadpool. Now it's just manic, crazy, annoying, idiot Deadpool which is not my Deadpool.

Wade wants to make friends. He doesn't want to be a hero to do something good... he just wants people to love him for being a hero. Now he is just a crazy maniac

He wants to be wanted and in the end thats what everyone always wants but deadpool can never retrieve it. When he tries it makes things worse for him. I like him because of that 

The different point of view he has on life and the Marvel universe...  great costume and the fact that he uses guns AND swords.

i love him because seriously, besides Spider-man he's Marvel's funniest character

he is a contradiction serious and historical, death and life, villain and hero, comic and real,man and monster he walks a line and reacts according to the situation witch in many ways makes him the perfect human.

Up until I found out about Deadpool all those years ago I thought Spider-Man was the funniest character in Marvel but now knowing as much about both as I do I do believe that Deadpool is Marvel's funniest character for sure. His fighting is so unpredictable even for Taskmaster and I love the fact that he is insane. I also love the fact when he is focused and determined he has the ability to defeat some of Marvel's Elite characters.
