Jessica Jones and Cage are hilarious! Have you ever read Alias? Are you reading New Avengers? Cage is pretty funny in his solo series as well.Some of the arguments he had with Jessica before they were actually dating\married were really funny and some of the things he says to a villain before he punches them in the face is funny.I think alot of these characters are more funny than Deadpool because they AREN'T always trying to make me laugh so it's unexpected when they say some of the things they say.Doom has always been funny.The way he belittles people, the way his arrogance allows him to think he can do things he can't.In that Civil War arc when he tried to lift Thor's Hammer and he couldn't so he was sad...that was hilarious (too me), because he was so sure he was going to be able to do it.Foggy Nelson has had some funny exchanges with Daredevil in DD v1.He's not so funny recently but that's because Daredevil has been an extremely serious book.The Punisher the same thing.He says funny things before hurting people.If you've ever seen any of his fights with Wolverine or Daredevil those are always good for a laugh...because they have some of the most ridiculous outcomes.Valeria Richards had some funny moments in Dark Reign..she reminds me of Doom but she's only a toddler.
You make a good point! It's true that its funny when someone not trying to be funny, but I like the random wisecracky jokes better. So I get where you're coming from, but most of them have just short little bursts of funny, but Deadpool and Spider-Man are constantly bringing out their funny.
