Deathstroke was before Deadpool. Deadpool needed more issue in order to develop the personality that we learn to loved.

@joshmightbe: You should really stop that attitude of yours. Yes your character is awesome but belittling another character like that. It makes people annoyed and not interested of the character you like because they think shallow attempt to be cool. Deathstroke. Deadpool was originally created as a parody of sorts.

However, I feel that Deadpool has changed so much since then that it really comes down to the whole Captain America/Batman situation. They are different characters targeted for slightly different audiences. For the most part, Marvel people are going to like Deadpool while DC people are going to like Deathstroke. There is just no getting around that.

Taskmaster, then Deathstroke and then Deadpool.
