It was a month ago that Activision and High Moon Studios announced the Deadpool game and released a teaser trailer. While there hasn't really been any new information since, Activision did send over some concept art and screenshots of the game that were revealed at Gamescom. A fact sheet was also sent along but because Deadpool himself wrote it, you can imagine how informative it is.

From the fact sheet we can gather that there will be a lot of Deadpool talking to us along with all of his "favorite things" including katanas, big guns, hot chicks, cameos from some of his favorite X-Men friends, chimichangas and bouncy houses.

Daniel Way has been "invited" to make sure the game pays tribute to Deadpool. Deadpool mentioned the game will be released in 2013 so that must mean that the world will not end this year. It will also be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The ESRB Rating is pending but Deadpool expects it will be an M for "Mature...or MOOBS, or Merc with a Mouth, or..."

Mm, I think the environments could use some work, but the character models in these shots looks fantastic.

I know there's only been one trailer and just this one set of concept art, but it seems like this game's settings will all be dark and empty.

Didn't even know they were making a Deadpool game....man I'm behind on the news.

This game looks great. After loving Transformers War for Cybertron and anticipating Fall of Cybertron, I have total faith that High Moon will do a great job on this.

Can't wait for this one. If they ever get around to making a Deadpool film, I hope they make it with this sort of zany sensibility.

I hope they have alternate costumes.

Sadly...there is no PC announcement .... which is why I am so disappointed.... this game NEEDS to be on PC !
